Littleborough People - page in preparation - to be finalised
Two important men whose businesses were important to Littleborough, Gordon Harvey who with his father and brothers developed and ran Fothergill and Harvey, the Cotton Textile business and Sir Alfred James Law (pictured far right) who took over Law’s Durn and Lydgate Mills fro his uncles Alfred and William Law.
Both were MPs for Rochdale around the turn of the 19th Century. They also served on the Littleborough Local board/Urban District Council. More details on Gordon Harvey are included here. For J A Law see here
